About Me

My name is Arunga Mathews a Kenyan citizen aged 27 years. I was born and raised in Vihiga county in kenya. I have a degree in business management. Am a first born in a family of 3 siblings. I've always been into business since I joined High school until now.

My Business

I run a printing business in Mudete market. I also rare poultry. I ventured into this printing business 8 months ago and it is doing well. I chose this kind of business because people in my village used to spend Ksh. 100 (1 dollar) or more as bus-fare to go to nearby town to get the service and also because it it what I used to do in college to get money for my personal expenses. I have helped reduce this cost for people around and beyond the market centre where I reside. I pay Ksh. 3500 for rental space and I have been making Ksh. 10000 monthly as profit which I expect to increase since I am still advertising the business. I have one employee who manages the poultry while I take care of the printing. I sell eggs at Ksh. 320 (3.08 dollars) crate a mature hen at 600. My poultry business makes Ksh. 5000 as profit every month and it is also doing well.

Loan Proposal

My poultry business is really growing and I want to purchase more vaccine. I want to buy Newcastle for my poultry due to their increased number. This will help the 2 weeks old hatched chicks to survive and I also the bigger ones for prevention purposes.
