About Me

My name is Julie Amara, am 29 years old married with one child, am honest God fearing lady. I was brought up in Migori where u attended my schooling, my background is very humble and due to the struggles my family was facing financially I wouldnt further my education. I got married when I was 24 years old and God has blessed us with one child.
My husband and I are self employed, we own a chicken farm and that how we make ends meet.

My Business

We started this project 2 years ago. We basically have egg laying chicken and broilers.
For the egg laying chicken we have 50 and 100 broilers. We make sells of the broilers after every 3 months but we have introduced a cycle that makes sure we make sales every month, thus to help us maintain the cash flow and as well be reliable to our clients who make orders weekly and bi-weekly.
For the egg laying, we collect at least 40 eggs on a daily basis then sell the eggs to local retailers and wholesale buyers.
Profit wise, we make a minimum of KES 20000 each month, depending on the sales we make on a particular month.
The money we earn comes in handy to help us take care of our basic needs and the education of our kid.
Every business comes with its challenges, at times disease strikes and we lose a lot of chicken, so to avoid this we try to vaccinate the chicken regularly, the other issue is that at times we have limited funds to afford feeds, this may in a way lower the productivity of the chicken.
Having heard of this platform, it's my sincere hope that it will help us grow our business through the loans it offers.
I hope you will have in us and help us grow our business and better our lives as well.
Warm regards
Julie.

I would wish to request for a new loan to help me vaccines for my chicken, vaccination is a very important thing when it comes to productivity, to ensure that my chicken are healthy I usually vaccinate them to help them maintain their immune and have a longer productive life which is very profitable to me.
It's my home that you will consider funding my loan of 5 dollars to help me get the necessary vaccines.
