About Me

I am from western Kenya Kakamega area, I was born and raised there, growing up was mostly a struggle food was hard to get, school was out of reach, clothing was not a priority, while growing up in western part of Kenya if one is from a poor family the only thing one can do is to work in the farms of will up people, and this is what we did together with our parents they could get an acre to work on after that we all would go that farm until we finish then we would get paid as a family, and after this we would now go to school for about a month and this was our life for the longest period, until one of the people whom we worked from gave us an offer to work in his farm and he said he will only pay us very little to buy food, but he offered to temporarily let us use it to grow vegetable and sell them to earn some money to improve our financial status.

My Business

My business includes selling of vegetables from onions, African vegetables and fruits, I sell them in small quantities to the villagers, I have a great clientele that are faithful people who live within the area and they buy for lunch, and supper, as a student this boosts me to buy materials to study, money for internet and other things that I need for school because once my sponsor has paid my fees they don’t provide other things.

Loan Proposal

I'll spend 4000KES buying one and a half sack of tomatoes and 6000KES would be spend buying three sacks of Irish potatoes due to there increase demand by the middle and high class families. 2000KES would be spend to expand my area of business due to the increase number of customers and also for the customers who will increase due to the increase in commodities. 1500KES will be spend in buying Onions and 2000KES will be spend in buying cabbages and other vegetables. 1500KES would be spend to buy spices like garlic, royco and pepper together with other spices to supplement the diet. 1000KES would be set aside to cater for other demands that would be made by the customers.

I changed my business from groceries to cyber, then collapsed due to the effect of Covid 19. Later could not be able to make any payments. After covid-19, I changed my business to electronics and now I have grown to a level that I think am able to clear this debt so as to improve my relationship with the Zidisha team so as to greatly improve and grow my business more. I am changing my installment so as to commit myself in clearing the debt because i believe am capable now.

Am realy glad at the moment because Zidisha has really motivated me in this business life. My stock in onions and vegetables has really increased due to my starting loan of ksh.9130 i got from Zidisha. Before i got the loan,i never used to satisfy my customers since the vegetables and fruits i used to sell were of low quantity, but now,i can see the difference. The profit is thereby expected to increase since i used the loan to increase the quantity of vegetables, fruits and onions. The support from Zidisha, has opened my future life and as long as am going to be with Zidisha,i believe that the future and prosperity of my destiny will be achieved. I therefore look forward to joining most of my business friends i trust so much to Zidisha Lending Group,so that they can experience the fruits of business prosperity am experiencing in my life. I believe the business will help me in my career as a student. My needs, will be satisfied. Thank you very much to Zidisha..
