.Born in Gatundu,Kiambu county ,Kenya.
I went to Ikuma primary school where I worked hard to get 380/500 marks in my final exams.
I grew up from a humble backgroung and have learnt a lot.
I have grown learning the Gikuyu tradition and as a Christian.
From Primary school,I joined Muhoho Boys High School. This is where I developed leadership skills and became the Chairman of maths Club and the treasurer of the debates Club.In my final Examination I score grade A -(minus).
After that I joined The Technical University of Kenya to pursue Btech.Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
I am in my last year here in Campus
When I joined University through Government sponsorship program,I was given a loan known as Helb loan. The loan is given to university and college students to help them pay fees. But in my first year when I got my first loan I used the loan to start small business of sausage selling.
I bought one jiko and bought some few packets of sausages as the starting stock. Now I have been able to buy other two jikos so I have employed 3 persons since I am still in school. I also started kale farming and chicken keeping. This helps me to earn good money when still studying
Hello lenders, thank you for your continued support. I have been able to implement many projects and seen them come to be a success. I have been doing kale farming and chicken keeping and would like to expand my business. I would like to add other varieties of vegetables such as spinach and Cabbages. Its a rainy season here in Kenya and I think its a good time to do planting. Adding Spinach and Cabbages will boost my market and earn more money. I would also like to expand my chicken keeping business which has been core in this project. I would like to add more chicken since I have already found a market for eggs and chicken.
How I will use the Loan
Since I will receive around 250$ , I plan to use the money as follows
Chicken 100$
Labour. 70$
Chicken houses 60$
Seedlings. 35$
Pestcides and Fungicides 25$
Miscellaneous 50$
Some of the money will be raised from my business as kale farming and chicken keeping is doing fine.
Implementing this, I expect to earn an additional 56$ a week or more. Please help me and thank you in advance.
