About Me

Looking back at my childhood life and now shows a margin improvement in the living standard of my family then and now. I was raised in a remote area named Mogoma village and attended a day school from 1999-2009.I had financial problems to cater for our education because being raised by a single parent who relied on farming to satisfy all the family needs plus my Education. She tried all her best till I managed to complete my primary education and proceeded to my secondary school from 2010-2013 using little cash she raised from selling her farm produce. When I completed my secondary education last year, I started vegetable farming in a small portion my mum allocated me to do some small farming to enable me get my personal basic needs as I await to join collage. Climate and soils of Kericho favors farming. I want to be an accountant am looking forward to joining collage to do economics and statistics.

My Business

My business is based on vegetable farming; growing of cabbages and kales “Sukuma wiki”.i chose this type of business due to positive factors that favors it; good climate and soil, rapid growth of population and increase in learning institutions that provide ready and steady market to supply. From sale of my produce I get $9 inclusive of expenses {$3}. Problem in transportation make it hard for me because I use cheap and slow means to transport my produce. Getting extra cash to cater for that will help me do more deliveries in fast way. I want also want to expand my farming to be able to get more profit. Currently my profits all goes to home improvement because of low standards of living.
Thank you in advance.

Loan Proposal

If I qualify to get the loan,I will use the money to expand the area to plant vegetables;plant more vegetables and hire a good transport system to help me do fast and more deliveries.I have been planting 1/2acre of land and now I want to fill the remaining 1/2acre .expenses I :incur to plant 1/2 acre of land is $30 .bt because I will double the size it will double the expenditure. I.e to $60.transportation cost per week $10. labour $15. If I will do all that I will create employment for other people and get double profit from my last one. I will also want to do free delivery to some childrens home for charity. I used to earn a profit of $10 per week. With doubling size of my farming,I expect double profit from $10 to $20 per week.
