About Me

I am a mother of two. My teachers love me not because I was brilliant but because of my sporting activities. Soon after my Jss, I went to learn seamstressing and got pregnant during the trade. I could not therefore finished to establish myself with that. Currently I am a single parent of two without any meaningful job. My first born is in Technical university and I have to take care of him as a single parent. The second born is also in her first year SHS. I sell vegetables and because I am a single parent, I also farm in addition to help my family.

My Business

Vegetables are not that common at Sawaba where I stay. Most of the farmers grow maize, cassava, plantain etc but they do not cultivate vegetables in and around where I stay and because of that I decided to start vegetable selling business. Every week I travel to Techiman where vegetables are very cheap to buy these vegetables and come and sell. This business has helped people to get fresh ingredients for their dishes. I use the profit I make to support my children education.

Loan Proposal

The loan will be use the buy different types of vegetables like Cabbage, Carrots, Cucumber and the rest. I sell mainly tomatoes, garden eggs, okro. Most of my customer will like to buy all their vegetables from me but they do not get them as my scope of vegetables sale is narroned. When the money gotten, it will be use to buy different types of vegetables.

This loan was originally scheduled to take two months and was paid off in a three and a half months. Updates on the discussion page explained the delay. Thank you for completing your payments.

During raining season which we are in now, vegetables are in abundant and there is no readily available market. Due to this, the market value has reduced affecting sales hence I want o reduce my instalment amount to be able to be paying regularly

I received an amount of GHS786 which I used to buy vegetables. With the raining season, tomatoes which is my main commodity is expensive and a box of tomatoes cost GHS300 which I was able to buy two boxes and used the left over to buy other vegetables. I thank Zidisha for such gestures.

The loan I have just finished paying help me a lot. In the last 3 months Tomatoes were out of season and the main source was Burkina Faso. With the help of the loan I was able to massage my friends who go to Burkina Faso to buy tomatoes. With this I was not buying it at the selling price of Kintampo hence widening my profit margin.

Now vegetables are scarce and the small costly. The small quantity you sell you are able to maximise profit. So I have been able to sell and make profit such that I can easily pay my loan and be able to take the next loan.

Of late market is not good. The harmattan has made the weather dry leading to scarcity of vegetables . When it is like that, people switch their yast to other ingredients leading to poor market. I there want to reduce the repayment schedule so as to be able to pay.

    Dear Sharon,
    Thank you for your response.
But I have mistakenly send money ( 200 GHS) to MITa (0548418954) from a merchant number (OAK Ventures- 0541994041) instead of my own number (0545199869) on 28-11-2017 with transaction ID as 2530996755

I am therefore appealing to ZIDISHA staff to either credit my account or send the money back to the merchant number above for onwards resending.

    Thank you.

The reason is that now Christmas is approaching and sales would be very good a week before Christmas. I would therefore need money to be able to buy more vegetables during the festive period. Holding high instalment amount will not help me. Thank you
