About Me

My name is Robert. I was born in Koudougou, the 3rd largest city in Burkina Faso. I have a wife and 2 children. I had a difficult childhood because I was one of 8 children that my father had with our mother. Due to the poverty in which our father lived, we did not have the luck to go to school because we didn't have the means to do so. So I decided to get into the active life of my youth doing all that I could do. With what I earned I could support my parents and my brothers until the day I set myself a goal by setting up a fish. With this company I have been able to move out and can also look after my family . Here's the story of my life.

My Business

I had had the idea of leaving to set up a public secretariat, but I noticed that the area where I live is very far from a market and the inhabitants could not easily get fish because there was no point of sale of fish . It was then that I decided to change things by opening a fish store to satisfy locals and also make this project my main activity. First to open this fish store, I sold my cattle in order to have a base [amount of money] to start from. I built a house from 20 pieces of sheet metal and bought a freezer. This loan will further boost the expansion of my business; it also permits me to take care of my family and also pay the salaries of my staff.

Loan Proposal

When the loan is received, I will buy two cartons of fresh fish that each cost 20 dollars x2 = 40 dollars. Each carton weighs 20 kg .On each card, the fish is sold by the kilogram, each of which costs 2 dollars. So I can make a profit of 20 dollars every 2 days. In one month, I will have a profit of 600 dollars. With the benefit I can reimburse my loan, care form my family, pay the schooling of my children, pay invoices and my employees and increase the number of cartons [I buy].

About Me

My Business
