About Me

My name is Catherine Muchuku, I am a mother of one daughter. I buy handbags from a supplier here in kenya who gets them from China and sell them to my clients here, I have a diploma in Information Technology. I started this business because i saw an opportunity and the need to give my customers executive,stylish and elegant bags that complete their look.I always do restock with the earnings that i make from my sales.During my free times i like socializing with friends,like outdoor activities,road trips and reading motivational books.

My Business

I started my business in November 2013,I buy bags @ USD17.98 each and i sell them USD24.72 each making a profit of USD6..74 each, most of my clients are business ladies and students.The loans will help me buy more bags and also in the future i would love to be importing directly from China at a cheaper rate and also rent out a stall that will be central and convenient to all my customers.I believe my bags are executive,stylish and elegant and this completes their look.My customers can attest to that and most of them always come back to me for more.The income that i will be getting will facilitate the loan payment.

Loan Proposal

I want to increase my stock from the current twelve bags to twenty bags that i purchase after every two month due to an increase in demand for the stylish handbags. The extra purchases will cost me USD43.84.So part of the loan will fund my purchases. If my sales are higher and quicker i plan to open up a stall which will be central and convenient for my customers,am currently a freelance i mainly do online marketing for the handbags n deliver to the customer to whichever location within Nairobi ,which is sometimes time consuming and tiresome.
