About Me

My name is Naomi Edward, I was born in Kilifi county Kenya.I went to Bamburi primary school where i did my kcpe, then joined St Annes High school where i did my kcse in 1989, then later in 1990 i joined Pioneer Commercial collage where i achieved my ACN Certificate. In 1992 i was employed at kenya suitcase manufactures limited as an accounts clerk . Am a single parent of four sons. Three of my own and one adopted orphan. My salary is very small to sustain my needs including school fees for my three sons who are in secondary schools, this is why i thought of having anaother source of income. Also some other shop keepers at my residence place are adding some few shillings on the items, this habit irritated me so much, and this is what made up my minde to open a small shop at least to sell at a reasonable prices.

My residence place is mombasa , likoni, kona ya zamani area. in bwana Athuman's house no 2.

My Business

I opened a small retail shop recently in August 20 14 at kona ya zamani, Likoni. selling variety of goods like sugar, salt, maize flour, cooking oil, rice, beans, wheat flour, kerosine etc etc. For a day i make kshs five hunded to eight or even a housand ,that is a good day.I have kept my cousin brother to run the shop while am at work. But i don't sell milk and soft drinks due to luck of refridgerator, am certain sure i would have increses my margin if i was selling these soft cold drinks.
That's why i need some money to buy the refridgerator.

I have closed down my small retail shop due tounfaifull people i keep on my shop while am at work, but instead i have involve my self in transport sector. I have bought a three wheel vehicle and employed a driver, whereby at the end of the day he gives me kshs one thaousand.

Loan Proposal

The loan proposal is to mainten and upgrade my three wheeled vihecle for around kshs fifteen thousand (15.000.00).
Then the balance of kshs 12,000.00 i will buy 10 sacks of charhol at a price of ksh 1,200.00 each and sale at a price of kshs 1,400.00 per sack whereby i will make a profit of kshs 200.00 on every sack so at the end i will have made a profit of kshs 2,000.and kshs 6,800.00 i use it to pay exams fees for my 1st born who is sitting for his final exam of form four next year.
