About Me

My name is Gailyah and I'm an advocate of the high court of Kenya. I completed my post-graduate diploma in law in the year 2014.
I have always been a hardworking individual and I have the drive to thrive in my industry.
During my free time I prefer going for adventures or reading motivational books

My Business

I have decided to start up my own law firm since I've been unable to secure a job. I have the experience and zeal and drive to achieve my goals. I intend to make my firm a brand in the near future. My business unlike other law firms, it will focus on areas where most lawyers don't like venturing into.
I will do a lot of intellectual property, banking and securities, real estate especially gated communities and energy and mining transactions.Most lawyers prefer doing litigation, commercial transactions and conveyancing while int he real sense the latter doesn't bring in a lot of income at the end of the day.
i will put in a lot of money on the branding since presentation is key. Most people don't know that presentation is key. To me image is everything and that is what would sell my business. Starting a business entails investing alot of time and energy.
it will require me to sacrifice a few things for it to work.
I will also need an office space eventually. the location that im looking into is where there are a few lawyers and many banks. This is to encourage the banks to give me most of their securitization work. Banks also require an advocates execution and stamping. Positioning my firm next to several banks will enable the various banks to send their clients to my firm to do the aforementioned actions.

Loan Proposal

As stated earlier, i have set-up firm but running it is a bit hindered due to the lack of equipment. i have not yet reached the threshold to be able to purchase the printer. I've only managed to save up enough to buy a laptop.
this equipment will increase the amount of work i do in a day and reduce the expence of having to go and pay for this service
