About Me

I am 27 years old born in a poor family of seven. i schooled in a local government school called burumba primary school. i worked hard in my early education and managed to secure a high school at st. peters mumias boys. i got good grades to join moi univesity where i graduated with a bachelors of art in sociology. i did work study programs to survive in the university. i did farming as well to support my education. the unique part of my culture is that we believe in communial activities and we support each and every person who joins our community. my young boy wants to be a doctor when he grows up. my hobby and past time activity is farming.

My Business

i do farming most of my time. i plant onions, maize and kales. these crops provides food basket in my community. i choose these crops because they are the staple food in my community. my typical costs in a month is about kshs2000 and my revenues are approximately kshs 3400=. whatever little i get in these activity i use it to pay for my children school fees and re-invest part of it.

Loan Proposal

i want to use the loan to purchase a water pump machine to be used in irrigation in my farm. this will enable me to farm all seasons including the dry season hence i will earn throughout the year the water pump will cost kshs 14000= and i have save kshs 6000= on which i will add the loan to be able to acquire the water pump. this will enable sustainability of staple food in my farm and community as well.
