About Me

I am Gyaase Edmond. I am 20 years of age. I am in a family of three. The family comprises of my mother, my younger sister and myself. Someone may ask where is your father? , sorry to tell you that I loss my father when I was in my junior high school.
I began my basic education at AKAB Complex School but did not complete my junior high there because it is a private school and because I have loss my father, I have to continue at Berekum Demonstration junior high school, which is a government school so that I can afford the fees. After completing, I continued at Berekum Presbyterian senior high school. Which I completed in 2013. I am now still at home working to raise money to continue my tertiary education.
I started my work that is water supply, in 2013 after my senior high school with a capital of about 700 dollars.

My Business

I started my water supply project in the year 2013 with a starting capital of about 700 dollars. The money was given to me by my late father's brother to start a business so that I will be able to start a business and raise money for my tertiary education. I used the money to mount a platform on which I will place a tank on it and use it to supply the community with water. I started this business simple because I saw that, the community in which we are living in lack treated water because we were drinking water from the steams and lakes.
I negotiated with Ghana water company to come and fill my tank so that I will sell it to the community. At the beginning, it was difficult for me pay for the water, so we went into agreement that they will come for their money after the sales of each water supplied.
We the community saw that the water is preventing them from the diseases they were getting at first, they became very happy which made the demand to increase.
The work was becoming difficult for me alone to operate so I employed one person to help me so I go to work today he will go to work tomorrow and vice versa. Today I have been able to mount another water supply project in the community making it two and have also employ another two assistance to help.
I look forward to expand my water supply project to the whole community and either communities. I estimate about 3500 for my expansion work.
REPAYMENT
I will be able to repay any loan offered me from the profit from sale of the water.

Loan Proposal

I will use the requested amount to mount a platform on which I will place a tank to store water and sell it to the community. This will help to prevent water borne diseases in my community.
Also to raise money for my tertiary education and as well as the assistance I have employed.
A bag of cement for mounting the platform is 15 dollars and a tank for storing water is about 150 dollars.

The demand for the water in this season in which we are is low because the weather is always cold so it does not make people to use too much water so sales is low.
