I am Pamela Wanjugu, 38 years of age and a mother of two girls: Roselyne, 16 years and Rita, 9 years. I went to school at Nyeri Primary School and then joined Karoti Girls High School for my form one to four. I am a hardworking lady with the hope that one day I will harvest the fruits of my hard work. I like travelling and getting to learn new things that will challenge me to put more effort in this life.
I have a beauty shop that offers: weaves, wigs, braids, makeup, hair and body cosmetics. I started the business as a general shop but, with time, I changed to beauty because there was not another shop available like that. The weave costs between 500 and 550 and I make a profit of 50 to 100 Kenyan shillings. The braids cost 70 Kenyan shillings and I make 10 Kenyan shillings. With my profits, I am able to take my kids to school and reinvest in more stock.
with the loan i will buy 20 weave for 4.5 dollars so the total is 90 dollars and 80 braids at 0.7 dollars so 56 dollars .with this i will make about 30 dollars on this sale .we are heading to christmas festive and every body wants to look go for the season and the sales are high
