About Me

My names are Jairus Otieno Ayieta, I was born in 1983 in Ndhiwa District of Homa Bay County, Kenya. I went to Government funded primary school in Kwabwai location and I did my KCPE 1998, upon completion of my primary education, I did not manage to continue to high school due to lack of money to support my education.

I dropped from school and joined informal artisanship sector as welder in metal works since 2000 where I started my own business to make steel doors, windows, gates, and all types of metal works. I am a married man with one 4 children. In my free time, I do visit friends and socializing.

My Business

I am operating a metalwork shop. My business deals with metals works, battery charging and paintings.

I am dealing with chairs, tables, beds, metal gates, iron bars, windows and doors. I serve local schools and individual clients involved in construction work.

The business is marketable as so many buildings are coming up in the Homa Bay County as the town is expanding, through this business I can be able to repay the loan while I feed my family and educate my children.

Loan Proposal

I am seeking a loan of US$100 to enable me buy raw materials for production of 5 windows that are urgently required by Ogongo Mixed Day Secondary School. I will make a profit of US$50 from the 5 windows, this money will enable me to buy more materials for large scale production of customized and ready made windows, doors and gates for clients that likes my workshop for good workmanship and modern designwork on metals.
