i am a young male aged 28 years, living in subukia constituency of nakuru county, munanda location arash village. i hold a diploma in business management in information technology. i am the first born in a family of five members. we have been living here since i was born, my parents transferred from mwea and bought a land in subukia. they have been farming and all of our siblings we have been brought up under a family of farmers, both our dad and mum. i adopted the culture and i have been doing farming in different variety. that is, tomatoes farming and cabbage farming which is doing very well in the area. the business is good and i am able to earn a living and also personal savings.
my farming business is very okay though facing challenges times to times which is very usual to a real business man. the challenges are like weather that may not be favorable through out the year and others. my farming business provides farm products like Tomatoes, cabbages, and kale.
the demand of this goods is very high especially at the end of the year like now. my goods get a high demand because i do a high standard farming and treat my crops with the necessary pesticides to ensure a good and admirerable produce. i sell my goods to our town center subukia and also when the produce is high i take them to Nakuru town. also main marketers came for product at our home in variety. i manage to have maximum profit having deducted my whole cost, that is transport, seeds and necessary treatment of the crop. if zidisha fund me with the money, i am planing to buy a water pump to help me pumping water during dry times and be able to do good and healthy farming throughout the year without the fear of weather changing at any time. i will highly appreciate your effort, thanks.
when funded with the loan, i will purchase a water pump that will enable me pump water from the source (river) and hence results to very healthy and standard farming. the remaining money i will buy seeds and pesticides and prepare the farm for November and December products. thank for your great support.
