About Me

I was born in 1993 in Murang'a county,kandara constituency.My birthday is on 10th April.I joined primary school when I was six years old where I spent eight years of learning and making new friends.Comrades were like family to me because we supported each other in childhood duties.We played a lot of games since each season had its own creative game.At home I used to help my parents after school with various duties and later do my homework.After class eight I joined high school and later went to university.

I have set certain goals I would like to achieve in my lifetime. Some of these goals are personal while others are professional. My professional goals in life are to find a good job that makes me happy, get a good education, find a job that makes enough money for me to support my family, and help people. Goals are generally significance because the far I have reached and the remaining part it's all due to the goals I set since my childhood times.This is how I overcame the hardships of the upcountry livelihood.

Being a highly ambitious person with a personal goal of being a great entrepreneur,I spent most of my studies on business part of the newspapers and it was amazing and still marvels me to see great entrepreneurs with humble beginnings having achieved a lot in their businesses and they eventually turned out to be great role models of my entrepreneurial passion and skills.After form four,that is the span before joining campus I planted cabbages that gave me the initial capital to commence my first business which involved making a tree seedling nursery and planted a variety of trees that were bought at various prices.It was a profitable business until I joined campus where I move on to a green grocery.

There are lots of unique things about the land I spend my precious life which includes;people being highly industrious,peaceful,minding affairs of each other,no intruders allowed in my community,they are also very clean taking it as a command,that is,cleanliness is second to godliness.Residents have a culture of forming group movements that help them solve various issues affecting an individual which I highly recommend as a golden privilege for everyone in the community.

I don't currently have a child but they are on the way and I wish the best in this life for them and pursue their abilities,talents and hobbies to their best when they grow up.

My unique past is high school times where I really hated to wake up early as we used to sleep late and wake up at four am.That made my early high school days a hell of place to live in,It was a prison where teachers always used to control me something I hated to extremes.But all changed the time I got to form three where I noticed time is really not on my side and I could even find myself waking at three am during weekends!Something I never imagined in the past,little did I knew my teachers were greatly supportive.High school times were times I recorded deep in my mind that I will always live to commemorate.

My Business

I currently do a business of green grocery where I sell a variety of agricultural products such as kales,spinach,cucumbers,water melons,bananas,oranges,cabbages,pumpkins,potatoes,among other products.I have a lot of passion and love for my business as it supports me in a lot of my issues.

Green grocery products are greatly useful for me as they are in high demand every single day since they sustain the day to day livelihoods of people.One doesn't need to create a long term strong basis for customers but all one has to provide are quality products appealing and attracting people.They should also sustain the tastes and preferences of residents and also a lot of cleanliness has be a hobby in a green grocery.Other factors such as location,security,government policies,source of products and population are mandatory for consideration when putting a green grocery and also other types of businesses.

The reason I choose this business is because it's a short term business that can be successful almost everywhere,I have passion for agriculture and so agricultural products are appealing to me and I count it as a joy having applied it in my business.It was also the most convenient and applicable business for me as the capital to kick off such a business was what I had in pocket.It's a business of all seasons and there is a lot of balanced diet revolving around a green grocery so it definitely attract customers.

The cost of products in a green grocery vary in accordance with the type of products ,for example kales have their specific price,cabbages depends on the supply from the source,tomatoes also depend on the the supply from source and the same trend apply to the other grocery products.Therefore,typical costs vary but I always fill in a record every evening to determine the profits or the losses I make.I pay revenue and carry out returns every financial year.

The profits I get in my grocery are used in a variety of ways that includes;paying my rent,pay for my higher education fees,save for life insurance.I also have a plan to kick off a great project in future and expand my business in the near future,which has been my driving point to applying the best skills and smart work in my business.The profits also sustain my day to day livelihood such as buying the basics such as food,clothing and shelter.I am also able to get the secondary wants such as money to save in a Sacco,join supportive groups and be able to pay loans after borrowing.

Loan Proposal

I want a loan to buy more fruits and vegetables to expand grocery shop.Prices of fruits vary in everyday market between $20-$30,a net of variety of fruits that I want to buy.

They will be of great benefit to the community since they are in high demand and their movement will be of no challenge according to my observation.They will also improve my business daily supply and grant me some sustaining profits that will support me in expanding the business to another level.
Other factors remaining constant,I expect to a profit increase of 22% in the products which will be an ample increase for paying off the loan and fulfilling other personal requirements
