About Me

i am 23 years old dynamic and ready to start making my future. i completed high school a few years ago. we live in kibira one of the largest slum areas in Africa and i find the challenge of rising to fend for myself from there . after hgh school i now felt its time to go alone and stop depending on my parents who are so hard working to pay school fees for the 8 of my siblings behind me.

i have started a business where i work online . having done computers as a subject from form 1 to form four. i dint pass well enough to merit government scholarship and since there are many of us in the family i have opted to start business instead of struggling for money to go to college which is a lot here in kenya
basically i work on the internet from my small room .if i get good funding from zidisha i would like to expand and open an office

My Business

since my loan is basically starting me with a small anount my proposal for now is based wifi airtime for internet.
i work with compnies which sell second hand things mostly electronics
i mostly work on olx.co.ke where i check someone who needs sells lets say a television screen i negotiate and buy at a very low price then i sel to my friends mostly who are not ale to go online at a higher price. this busness can have a huge potential as there are many willing buyers who are either not internet literate or don't have money to go online r rather dont have online access
so my proposal for today will be just a loan to buy unlimited internet for 1000 kenya shillings this will allow me to source for many products online and resell them in the slum area.
the returns are always good they enable me to pay for my rent and food at least each week i can sell a product and have a balance of not less than 2 thousand
i equally want to buy things here in the slum area sell them online so generally its a small e commerce business

Loan Proposal

i do busness onine resseling online produts from olx and other organisations to peple in my slum area who are not able to acess internet but eed this products . i also sell fo them products which they want to sell quickly online yet they find direct sales hard.
bsically what i do is i check online what is a vailable i advertise it at a higher price after negotiating with the seller. then i tell i finish the transaction.
on the other hand i take things from the people in the slum area and advertise them online when they are bought i get my commission .
many people in Kibira slum are not internet literate so they a rent accessed to a large online market .
this business needs i should be online throught unfortunately i only buy daily bundles which are expensive if i get funding i will buy unlimited internet for 1000 and be online the whole month for free this will increase my activities and lower my cost of operations
on a good week i can sell at least two items . i run the business on my laptop and from my room so i don't incur a lot of costs
