About Me

My names are Bertha Kalima I am a 32 year old single mother of one who is also working on my masters degree via distant learning with the Zambia open University. After I got pregnant a young age, my life changed tremendously as life dawned on me. my father passed away and my mother had no means to support me or my siblings.i started washing people's clothes as a mode of income and later developed an interest of doing people's hair and I've been running that business for 10 years now.i managed to take care of all my siblings including my daughter with my salon business.

My Business

My business is a local salon located in the heart of copper belt province Ndola. I make wigs and also braid people's hair
Business can be Soo busy to the point where my customers have to book my services days in advance.i am grateful for my God given talent that it has been able to sustain me for over a decade.

Loan Proposal

With this money I am applying for I would like to use it to restock on the kanekalon hair extensions that I use for braiding the customers hair in my salon
It would be beneficial for me If I provide a service and also sell the wigs so that I can maximise profits

Income Source

Yes they face risk but because salon business is a fast paced business I'm sure that I will be able to pay back this loan with the profits I will make in a short period of time
