About Me

My names are Jesse Kamau 22yrs old,i live in Mathare North along Thika rd.Am a student and a business man.I come from a family of of 2girls and 2 boys, growing up was not so easy since i lost my mum when i was to young at the age of 7 thus being left at the hands of my dad.I cleared my forth form in 2009 and i was not able to join college since my dad did not have money to enroll me in one.I got a job in a shop in 2010 as a salesman in a shop and was able to save some cash to open a small business which has enabled me to pay for my college fees.It has been good so far selling second hand shirts,t-shirts and socks to my fellow students and other clients that i get through Facebook.I usually get a profit of 20-25000 a month after expenses,am able to purchase food, pay rent and fees also transport to and from college at the same time adding extra stock whenever possible. With zidisha loan the sky is the limit for i will be in a very good chance to have my business grow.

My Business

I chose to sell secondhand shirts, socks and t shirts for men because most of the people where i sell my goods to are from the middle class and cannot afford to buy new especially most are college students and mostly they depend on the pocket money given to them by their parents. This business is profitable because i get 60% profit on each cloth i sell,i operate from a road side makeshift which is temporary situated on a very busy environment which is temporary.Once i get the loan i will be able to rent a permanent stall so that i can be able to have a spacious, admirable and attractive place for my business and also it will be able to protect the clothes from rains and strong wind and the customers too can have a better place to try and fit the clothes.Through this business i shall be able to pay for the zidisha loan every week.

Loan Proposal

I appreciate the zidisha team for awarding me this opportunity to apply for this loan, The money will help me get a room and pay for my business and it shall really help me .Because my products will be safe from rains, wind and sun also my clients will get some privacy to be able to fit clothes of their choice without worry, will do more on my business and also it shall increase sells thus making more profits.Am sure that if i may get the money and add the money i have from my savings i will be in a position to meet the demands of all my clients and even enable me pay this loan as scheduled.
