About Me

My name is Joseph masese machira I was born in 1963 at munanda in bahati nakuru county I joined munanda primary school and later Rongai boys for my O levels . After school I joined comboni polytechnic in Gilgil town for a course in carpentry and joinery to the level of a diploma. I worked with various institutions and lastly Gilgil telecoms industries. In 2006 I decided to start self employment of producing wooden furniture in my workshop at Gilgil town I am married and blessed with 3 children.

My Business

My business is located in gilgil town specialized in the production of wooden furniture. I started this business after I realized there was great demand for wooden furniture among the local community. I produce sofa sets, wall units, beds, Filling cabinets, office furniture etc . I normally get orders in my workshop where I am in stock of the row materials to produce the same. My business does well because I supply school desks and other commodities to the leaning institutions in and outside nakuru county. It is from its proceeds that I was able to buy a plot and built my own residential house. The worst challenge my business faces is luck of modern tools to make exotic like furniture which would definitely attract a lot of orders. With zidisha platform I am optimistic that I will be able to fulfill this dream.

Hi lenders, Joseph is not available on phone i also tried a couple of his contacts without success. However there was a concern when one of his contacts, a family member told me that he does not know anyone by the name Joseph Machira.

I would like to increase the repayment to kenya shiling two thousand five hundred as have made a profit from my business hence fill should repay the loan soon so that could apply for a another loan to purchase portable hand planer machine and a grinder. both costing ksh 50,000.

I take this eary time to thank zidisha for the loan which i received Ksh 8,300 . I did a top up of 8,000 and bouhgt a jig saw for my workshop. am now hapy and in buisness.

Hi every one.
I am glad have completedd repayment for my first loan .
I applied for a loan from zidisha and received it in total Ksh 7,600. I purchased timber and working hand tools as additional from what i had.the timber purchased enabled me manufacture furniture to my customers in the end made profit out of it.
I thank Zidisha for the loan.
