About Me
I finished my Degree in Computer Science in Egerton University, I'm waiting to graduate and decided to start a business to supply internet in the community residential areas. my pilot was done in Nakuru and has proved viable. the initial capital for it was 70,000Kshs. to buy the Internet subscription , the routers and wifi expanders.I charge 1500 per month for high speed internet. in residential areas. I currently have 70 subscribers. I want to start the same in Kisumu Milimani Area and I need Funding to help me purchase a server as that is a huge area with many clients.
My Business
My business supplies internet to consumers at a cost of 17$ a month, I have 70 subscribers which gives me 850$ a month, 400$ goes to paying the Internet Service Provider which gives me a monthly profit of 300$ after factoring in electricity and maintenance costs. the area is densely populated with people in the age group of 18-35 hence always creating a demand for Internet.I want to start the same in Kisumu Milimani area with the same type of demographics so as to increase my profit margins n offer affordable internet solutions to the community in the area. The future plan is to venture into schools and Business institutions and a software development company
Loan Proposal
I will use the loan to purchase 1 ubiquiti nano station M2 which transmits a WiFi (wireless Fidelity) signal over a distance of 2km thus increasing the coverage of my network and getting more cliens. The Equipment I intend to buy costs 100$ I have some savings amounting to 50$ the loan will enable me buy it.
