About Me

Am phoebe from sabatia, buchenya village, kakamega County, first born in a family of 5 a mother of two currently staying in ahero and am married .went to nyakongo primary later joined shitoto and then jaramogi University where I pursue diploma in community health and development. In 2015 I got a job with certain company from Turkey called flormar and this is I got the motivation to start my business cause my friends would be trust me with how I was matching for the shades for make and the outcome was impressive.

My Business

Life was not that easy on me and my family I had to get married early in order for my younger sister to get to finish her high studies with all that I was going through hell but I had to endure will the violence I was receiving from my husband. Later I got some cash from Chama it was 3000 Ksh, I started going to the market pick some few clothes of about Ksh 1500 and walk around with them to see if I can sell them and get something from it and that as well was not easy cause I had to carry my child on my back cause I didn't have someone to help me out with her, it was tough to walk in the whole easte under the sun with her. I did that for 11/2yrs later I proceed to Facebook which was not cause you are reaching out so many people but no one ask for an order. Later In 2016 I got a job with a makeup company from Turkey called flormar which brought their goods in kisumu and I was working their as a sales lady since the products were so expensive it could do well so their again I lost my job that when I went back to business something that I know like the palm of my hand, I opened a shop stocked it and since I was still getting my clients from flormar calling for consultation on what to wear on their faces there I decided let do cosmetic when I still have the trust from my flormar clients. I started this business with my last salary I got from flormar Kenya and that was 18000ksh.i ha e never regretted doing this.

Loan Proposal

Am planning to use the loan to grow my business by adding more stock especially on products that are on demand and have not been able to provide to my customers since the field of cosmetics is quit competitive and customers like to get everything they want under one roof to save them on time, money n energy.
