About Me

My name is Kupalia mwarumba, am a single man living alone.Am from a family of six and am the fourth born. I came from a poor family my dad passed away and therefore my mum had to raised six children by herself and she is a business woman. All my elder bothers are working while 2 are stiil in school. I live in Kikambala Maveni village near Sun n sand Beach Resort.
It's about 9Km from Mtwapa town and it only cost Ksh 30 from Mtwapa to Kikambala. Just tell the conductor to drop you at Sun n Sand stage and take a boda boda (motor cycle) Ksh 50 to Maweni. At the moment am working as a children care taker at Mtwapa in an organization (Blessed Compassionate Day Care Center).I completed both primary and secondary education and did not go to college due financial problems.. My salary is not that big to provide me with everything that i need and that's why i started this small bureau business and see the place there is high demand.

My Business

My business is a cyber cafe.Am providing printing, csaning, type setting and internet services.I started this business last year after quitting working in a cyber cafe due to low salary and the business was doing good.Mtwapa is a growing town and hass lots of tourist so internet services are in need.we have many shools also so typsetting services are needed hence these factors provide a market demand. Most people prefer my business becuse i i have the best and fast internet and am we offer good printinh services. The risks involved in this businees are that its a leisure businees so its not a must for people to have it.I make around 1,400 ksh per day thus coming to 42,000 ksh per month. I spend around 500 k sh per day thus 15,000 ksh per month. internet services costs 5,000 k sh per month.I pay my staff person 6,000 per month and rent for the shop 4,000 ksh.I remain with 12,000 every month as profit.

Loan Proposal

Zindisha and lenders thanks so much for your support and God bless the good work you're doing, it's changing a lot of people lives. The festive season is here and the holidays too. I want to buy more stock because the demand right now is high. I want to buy mp3's, headphones, mobiles and mobile accessories and other things. Thanks once again Zidisha and the lenders.

    Message for Beatrice Kariuki:
    Hi Beatrice,

You have missed all your payment schedules, havent made any repayment, no efforts and no communications from you at all.
How's your repayment reschedule going ?
Do you still have any efforts to repay or you'd like to run away ?
Hope to hear that you are fine and healthy.

    Mr. Mwarumba,

In a previous posting you said you expected to start making your repayments by March 20, 2014. It is now March 27 and we have yet to receive a first repayment. Can you inform us about your present situation?

On another matter, you are the VM for Mr. Stephen Mwarumba. Are you related to him? Could you please check up on him and see how he is doing? In his last posting he stated he had been sick for a month - that was in late January. It has now been 2 months and we have not received further news from him. We would like to know when he will be able to start repayments.

    Thanks,
    Cris

    Mr. Mwarumba,

How are you doing? How is your business? It's been a while since you updated your lenders. We are all wondering when you will be starting up your repayments. At this point - after having already rescheduled your loan - you are almost 3 months in arrears.

    Thanks,
    Cris

      Mr. Mwarumba,

I hope things have started to improve for you. It's been a while since you last updated us on your situation. Could you please drop us a quick line to let us know how things are going? We would also like to know if you'll be able to start repayments soon. If not, you might want to reschedule again. You have been a long-time borrower and we trust you.

      Thanks,
      Cris

Hello Mr. Mwarumba - I'm happy to help you out a little bit. I hope that you are able to make the good sales you expect during this holiday time!

Last night, it snowed a little bit here in the city of Winnipeg, Canada - soon it will be very wintery and cold - just like I expect for Christmas. Of course, the festive season in Kenya must be quite different!
