Before arriving where I am , I had groped for so long in the dark on how to get a flexible financial facility to expand my business. Zidisha came in handy at a time I was nearly giving up. The last loan I received from Zidisha enabled me to put up a green house where I continued with my vegetables growing venture in season and out of season. The demand for vegetables in Kisumu town outstrips the current supply. This is a window of opportunity for me to continue expanding vegetable farming beyond the confines of the green house to an open space outside. Many vegetable traders now come to my farm to buy vegetables thereby cutting down my transport costs. This venture has helped my family to have enough provisions, school fees for my children and also several people depend on this farm as a direct source of employment. This time I want to buy more seeeds, make more compost manure, farm equipment and storage tanks to start off a 2 acre open field irrigation vegetable farm. Thanks to Zidisha for helping me grow.

First of all, I would like to say a very big thank you to the founders of zidisha for making this possible.. Secondly, I go all out to say another big thank you to my lenders who came all out to fund my loan. I was so happy when I received my loan as a sum of Gh¢ 573 . I had so many plans in making some profit in what I love doing most but how to raise the capital was the problem. But now thanks to zidisha and my lenders, I'm able to start pushing on my dreams.. I have been able to get some fabrics to be designed and put out in the market for sale... I'm very happy and and I can't thank my lenders enough for this great joy I have now.. I would love to thank all the funders of my last loan. Business has been very low lately due to economical challenges in our country. Regardless of the challenges, the loan you offered to me yielded a lot of fruit and made my business grow. I have even thought of growing it bigger from just a computer business centre to a multi purpose business centre offering and selling fish and rice. My business currently has grown by 20% and the profit base has also increased thanks to the Zidisha team. Dear Zidisha Lenders, I am of full joy today after receiving the loan amounting to Ksh. 18,079. I am really happy and I say thankyou. With this loan, I am starting a Hardware pilot project where I will buy tubes worth $ 70. I will buy plates of gauge 18 worth $ 80 and welding rods worth $ 30. Dear Lenders, today i made my final repayment of my loan before schedule, this loan has taken me far and i was able to attract more clients into my business from the stock i added when i took the loan,December was a good business season although at one point towards new year i sold on credit which was paid late and was a lesson to me. We are now on an election season here and campaigns are on, a lot of printing of campaign merchandises is in offering and i have already started getting its benefits. I have sold most of the printing materials i had stocked, that's why i was able to repay may loan before schedule. I have also been able to full fill some of promises i had made to my family e.g a new micro ware to my wife, a second hand (good condition) bike to my son during his 11th birthday which was on 06/05/2017. and i still hope to buy a new one to my young lovely daughter on her 5th birthday on 12/06/2017.
