My previous loan really helped me to brought relief on my life because the buy and sell market was good during the Christmas season, so there was joy in my family during the Christmas and that explains why I was able to pay the loan before the expected time.

We planted the Craspedia seedlings in 2 phases and expect to start selling in February. Growth has been slower due to the on-going unusually dry season.

With the loan, we are going to use Ksh.4,000 for purchase of organic manure from a neighbouring farm. This will help improve quality of soil and water retention.

In addition, Ksh.20,000 will be used as deposit towards hire purchase of a 10,000 litres water tank valued at Ksh.98,720 which includes delivery to the farm. The balance of about Ksh. 78,720 will be payable in 24 months @ Ksh.3,280 per month from the proceedings of flower sales.

Having a water tank will help keep the flower plants fresh and allow for constant flowering so that we can harvest on a weekly basis. In addition, we can be able to diversify to other horticultural products which are in high demand in the local market; as well as provide a source of clean water for the families that assist at the farm.

My second loan activities are in progress, I was able to transplant my pepper seedling in November, 2016 and now the pepper are now fruiting, very soon I will be harvesting them every three days.Now I employed eight labourers on my farm and am very happy for the help Zidisha has opportune me. Thought I have not starting harvesting jet but am really go to get much profit of about 80% increment than before because this time is dry season and vegetables are always in high demand.In fact I have bought a motor cycle for my wife with the interest I got from my earnings. My hobby is swimming in which I does it mostly after Church service

I wish to buy high quality energy saving bulbs, wires, fans and many others which I am unable to sell on a large scale in my shop currently.

This will go a long way to increase my weekly earnings by about 60 percent which will help me procure my sick dad's drugs and support my two younger sibling's education.
