I used the previous loan to buy some working materials such as sewing needles, thread and some oil for the sewing machine. This has a brought a difference in my business as i have managed to make profits over the months without necessarily worrying about the material costs. My earnings have increased by quite a margin say 10usd over the past few weeks. I have used this earnings to buy more materials as i was given an order by a particular customer to make for him some clothes. Over the past few weeks i have had no problem feeding my family as business has been good and i haven't lacked any thread nor sewing needle or rent for my establishment. My neighborhood is quiet place and now that school have closed alot of children are back home hence more work as they also do come to sew there clothes especially girls.

Thank you, in my first loan I bought Fertilizer for Tea, maize and potatoes at a cost of USD59.00 I also bought pesticides for potatoes at a cost of USD16.00 and Chemicals at USD15.00 On the other list was protective clothes, I bought Gumboots for safety and protection at a cost of USD8.00 The benefits that I got was being ready for planting during the onset of the season and I did not waste time due to lack of money to buy inputs products. My income increased from the usual USD400.00 per month as I had planned previously. I managed to repay your loan ease and completed ontime hence qualifying for another on. I was able to pay school fees for my children and helped my parents back home. My business was very productive and very possible outcomes as I was now combining the profit of both the cash crop and the food crops. I am very happy for this and I will thank you Lenders and Zidisha. Thank you very much.

Thank you lenders for giving yet another chance to prosper in my business. In my previous loan, i bought the fast moving products in my shop. I bought different types of Hair at a cost of $40.00. I also bought Shampoo at $ 28.00 and Assorted Nail Polish at $20.00. More important also was Nail Polish remover at $15.00 and Shower cap at $4.00. These products added value in my shop especially being the most common ones my customers always ask for. My business has been a one stop shopping point for my customers where they are sure of getting what they need every day. I focused my profit to increase from the current $30.00 per day and true to my surprise I even surpassed my target with hard work and determination. My son has been attending school very well while paying school fees and bringing him up in a healthy way. I frequently visited my parents to help them in various ways and this was possible because you helped me with your funds to grow my business. This has been a wonderful moment for me and my business goals towards making it a whole sale shop in future. I am very grateful to you lenders and Zidisha. I thank you lenders.comment image

I had a great business idea and I wanted to employ myself but I din't have capital. I went to a local bank where I had an account and talked to the credit manager about loan, he went through my account and told me that I qualified for the amount that I was requesting. He gave me the contract papers that I signed and I secured all the guarantors and all the requirement that was asked. I did everything that needed to be done. The credit manager, after receiving my loan application, just did nothing. I never got the loan and when I enquired from him, "l am not convinced that you can pay the loan" is the answer I got. I realised that on that day of my loan application, I was not wearing a suit and that is how an opinion had been formed about me. I am a farmer and my work is in the field and I enjoy working together with the people who work for me. We wear casuals. My love for internet led me to Zidisha. My first loan was funded in less than 24hours! My lenders at Zidisha have only judged my ideas and given me the opportunity to prove myself. I am currently on my third loan and am happy. At the end, when Zidisha will be writing down the list of people it made great, I will be there. I will forever be greatful to my lenders who took their time and resources to put me on the path of success despite the thousands of miles that stands between us. Thank you Zidisha and thank you my lenders.

I buy cooking oil and sugar in big bags of 25 kg then i break into small measures like 1/4,1/2,3/4 ,1 kg and so on.This is to reach different customers depending on how much they can afford.I have been borrowing one but now want to buy my own.The machine will cost $ 80.I will use the loan to do this and will put my savings also. This will be convenient for me and also its reliable.People like to see while you take measurements of what they want to buy and distrust something that is already measured and packed.thanks alot all lenders for funding my loan in full.

Tonui, it's great to read about your plan to grow your farming business - I hope planting goes well and you get all those sacks of potatoes to sell, and can reinvest in other crops. My mother (88yrs old) is interested in how you get your potatoes to market. I told her about you and she was telling me about how her father grew corn (maize) on their property when she was a child, as a staple food source for their family. She also wishes you and your family all the best.
