After receiving the money I will spend it by buying 4 heifers to boost my daily farming since I have enough feeds. It will help me much since it will increase my milk production in coming days, still it will create a job opportunity to one youth. I want to take this opportunity to say a very big thank you to all the members who funded my project. I am going to buy a water storage tank for rain water harvesting.
Our school children will drink clean water and be healthy. This will help them perform better which will lead to the growth and development of the school.

From the first application, I purchased Tyre Accessories (tubeless valves) for sale at the workshop.

This has really helped me from losing revenue because we used to send customers to purchase the tubeless valves from other automotive shops, this has helped at improving my cash flow.

I used part of the earnings to support and fund other entrepreneurs through part it forward impact which enabled me to increase my contribution.

Once my income is consolidated it enable to me to fund my children as they complete their university education.

I will now buy more sugar cane for my crusher to increase my jaggery production. This will inturn help in increasing my profitability. I believe this will improve the livelihood of my family and community as a whole.

Hello my supporters. I am very grateful to you all for the support you gave for my last project. The project was planting maize for the school lunch program. The maize farm is doing very well and with your support we expect a bumper harvest. This is going to make a big difference to the well being of these children and the surplus of maize will be sold for the development of the school. Infact since I joined the Zidisha family I have seen a big change in the school in terms of development. I am very grateful to the Zidisha Team who came up with the idea of global fundraising. Today, 8th June 2023, we bought 50kg of Peatmoss (the medium that we use in our green house to propagate seedlings). We raised $58 from our most recent funding application and this helped us buy the medium. We shall propagate 34,000 cabbage seedlings in four monthly phases, all of which shall be transplanted in our farm.

In the first picture, we have the Peatmoss medium that we bought.

In the second picture below my team and I are setting up drip lines on one of the blocks in our farm.

We shall also post photos and videos of the propagation process here and o our website, Facebook and Instagram pages.

I am very grateful to the members who funded my project. These funding will facilitate ploughing of the small space of land and also buying indigenous vegetable seeds. Now my family will not have to worry about vegetables anymore. The surplus will be sold for that extra shilling that will be used to buy other essentials . Thank you for making my project possible.

My previous project has gone on so well such that I've been encouraged to continue making it even better , the eggs production has increased since I was able to purchase more chicken and the chicks are more comfortable since they are in a better housing

I intend to buy a waste water pump to assist in treatment/recycling of water for domestic use and irrigation. This will assist in increasing farm production, having an environmental friendly farm and reduce cost of buying water. Thanks for making this project possible.

Reading this post about five years ago brings back nostalgic feelings while also instilling a sense of humility and gratitude. My last post here was on August 15, 2015, and exactly a month later, I had the opportunity to embark on a one-year internship in Israel. The internship was incredibly demanding, causing me to completely forget about this platform. However, I never forgot about my dream and project of applying to a Master's program.

During my time in Israel, I was able to save money from the internship and applied to several Master's programs in the United States. I was admitted in August 2019 and successfully completed the Master's program in July 2021 with a perfect 4.0 GPA. I have now begun my Ph.D. program and am currently in my third year. It has been an incredible journey thus far.
Interestingly, while working on my research today, I stumbled upon a post that reminded me of this platform. I want to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to my donor and also apologize for not being able to repay them on time. Although the pay button is not currently functioning on my account, I will reach out to the help center and find a way to fulfill my repayment.

Ultimately, I believe I am now in a position where I can offer assistance to others as well.

I would like to inform my backers that I received my project this today with much joy. I will buy yarn for my hand crochet weaving and plan to buy a sewing machine to increase production and quality of my work. Frm my previous loan,I was able to raise my batch of chickens and have managed to sell .I also managed to get another batch which I will be selling in the next 2 weeks.At the moment,I would like to increase on my numbers of the chickens I'm able to buy.Secondly,I have been able to start a garden fr okra.thank you Zidisha.

Hello my Zidisha family, i am very delighted for your continued support. The previous loan changed my life positively and helped me increase my herd. I look forward in supporting this platform and always remembering to pay it forward.

Hallo my Zidisha family, the previous loan enabled me to acquire feed supplements for my dairy cows. Due to that my milk production increased leading to an additional income from the sales of milk.

This fund i will use it first to apply 2 licenses to continue allowing me to collect Garbage. 1 county government requires everyone collecting Garbage have this license which cost $180 yearly. 2 environmental body which is nationally environment management authority (nema) also requires me to have the license which cost $88 yearly. To me and my two workers while at work we must have a pair of gumboot ×3 costs 15, pair of groves ×3 cost $9, overall each cost $20×3. This will allow allowing to work stress free because i have done all this at once. The rest i will hire a truck which cost weekly $100 a whole day going house to house. This is the farm at present. The rains are still on and we expect a good harvest.

I have always wanted to introduce Macadamia and Hass avocado farming in my rural area of Makueni which is actually known for orange, mangoes, and lemons.I believe an introduction of these farm products in Makueni (especially the HASS AVOCADO) will be able to be beneficial to rural small and large-scale farmers who depend too much on Citrus fruit farming which does not have export potential. The Hass avocado products' largest buyers are the Chinese and the current tonnage from Kenya cannot satisfy the market. So there is potential for diversification and engagement.I will use the funds to study and engage with the county government of the Makueni Ministry of Agriculture and introduce HASS AVACADO seedlings.

I bought sheep and i now have 59 sheep. I gave my brother 2 sheep and 1 to my mother. There is a time i sold 10 sheep and registered my brothers exam. when they become may i think of opening up a butchery.
