About Me

During childhood, one needs to enjoy his/her life without any worries. It is a time in which one should take care of their diet, health, and immunity. Besides, the children should be taught to be neat and clean, to eat, read, sleep, play, and to do exercise regularly and these things should be in the habits of the child. For me, i can only wish it was the same. My grandmother was my mother and my father cause my mother was too young to take care of me and my father died when I was just a baby. therefore, both my parents were nowhere near during my childhood. Barely twelve years old my grandmother died too and I was sent to a boarding school by my mother. My Ultimate Dream as a child I have always had many dreams and goals in my life perhaps because I never hard things. I have now realized that I cannot always have what I want in life as it can then become too complex and complicated. I think this because everyone wants to aim for the best in all their dreams, but as we grow older we realize that not everything is that easy. I also think that we all have to be successful in order to fulfil those dreams in our lives. A few of them include starting a career in business and succeeding in creating my own company. To add to this, I also love to experiment with my surroundings and find out new things so that it can help people in their everyday lives for example creating new inventions and medical remedies. Also I want to try and find new ways in which I can help nature and the natural world. I have been inspired to include these aspects in my ultimate dream because I find that I am capable of achieving these goals and I have a particular talent in them such as being able to manage and lead a group of people, working as a team and organization skills. Although I can do all these things I still work hard to improve and increase on my skills and abilities. Also I was saying that I wanted to create inventions, medical remedies and find new ways to help the natural world because I enjoy trying out new things and learn on new ways to help the natural world because I like solving scientific problems such as Global Warming and finding better renewable energy sources for the world. As well as that personally I think that it could just be done simply for enjoyment and pleasure. Another reason for this is because I have been encouraged a lot by my family to try harder in my education and to be more motivated towards what I want to achieve, this helps me in a way because it makes me feel more confident, also it makes me want to achieve my dreams even more.

Oh my goodness the number of hard times that I have encountered in my lifetime are too many to list. I cannot think of a single person who has achieved anything that was not preceded by “failure” of some sort. For me, I have faced life and death moments, lack of capital and resources. I have been in the lion’s den surrounded by people who were united in my assured destruction. I keep on picking myself up after being knocked down and starting all over again. Each time I start over I get stronger and wiser. I am also a Christian not only buy name but, my knowledge and my life is shaped by the word of God. So, no matter how hard my life gets I always have faith and hope to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

I started my business like a joke. On my birthday my uncle gifted me an XBOX 360 console, which is the mother of my business. Came a time, i was tired of playing games. So, I started renting it for 25ZMW a day. I collected valuable collateral in exchange of renting my game. I did this for about a year and latter looked for a fixed place, where i have attracted more people who play games within my shop and rent games in the evening. With just one console I managed to buy two more consoles, with the profit I was saving from my first Xbox 360 console. Currently, with the help of Zidisha, i have expanded my business by buying another Xbox 360 console, a printing machine and i have started a business of selling clothes.

Zambia celebrates its independence day on 24 October, we shine a spotlight on this stunning Southern African nation, which is known amongst other things for its waterways, wildlife and witchcraft. My country is famously known for peace and love, that it shares among its eight neighbors and the globe at large. According to the World Economic Forum (WEF), Zambia is one of the safest nations in Africa. In fact, it’s very nearly rated as safe as Great Britain, which should inspire confidence in would-be travellers.

I love listening to good music, reading, dancing and I enjoy learning despite were the knowledge is coming from and teach when it’s necessary. I have discovered that not all things are in books, on television(TV) or on internet but also in travelling, meeting new people and getting new Ideas.

My Business

I run a game center with video games like Xbox 360, Xbox one and ps2, ps3, ps4 and games are connected to a television(TV) so that anyone who wants to play has to pay before playing. In short I can say my service is to entertain youths. I create electronics tournaments such as FIFA, need for speed and main more.

Zambia is new to technology so are its people. Games and technology are really new things and people are hungry to have a bite of it. This is the main reasons my business is in demand at the moment, people never stop playing games.

I am a gamer and a student of programming and designing. so, I enjoy playing games and doing this business. Like I said earlier that i love to experiment with my surroundings and find new things that can help people in their everyday lives. This business is a profit not only to me but to my community also. I help young ones who do nothing but partake in drug abuse, fighting, stilling, using abusive language and with broken dreams of becoming political thugs, commonly known as cadres. With my skills and my God's little given wisdom they have opened their hearts and minds for me to pour love and hope into their hearts and wisdom in their minds, knowledge and dreams into their lives. I believe I am making a difference in my community.

I rent a shop which i usually pay monthly, the shop’s electricity bills. Due to Covid 19 i am in need of more money to rent a bigger shop so that I can observe social distance, buy hand sanitizers and soaps for my customers to use.

I use my profit for transport when i want to go somewhere, for my education. rentals, buying food. I use my profit to expand my business and to repay my loan so as to be able to qualify for a high amount.

Loan Proposal

I will Invest this loan in a clothing business, i will buy a bale of garments.

In Zambia, the current season is blessed with holidays and celebrations. Therefore, this season is perfect for garments business. Because of the holidays and celebrations, people are motivated to buy clothes, to wear on outings, parties and other occasion. This business is fast and assuring, more especially when you want to be earning daily or weekly.

Like i said earlier, this business is fast and assuring. I will buy a bale of 2000ZMK and after selling i am expecting to make about 6000ZMK weekly and i am expecting to have a profit of 3500ZMK a week.

Income Source

Zambia has its economy running despite the current economic climate, business are on going and schools are open. I have a game center which has grown tremendously with the help of Zidisha. This game center is capable to repay the loan without any difficulties. By 17 September, i am going to open a clothing business, which is likely to make about 35000 a week. I am also a full time self-employed electrician. With my skills, i am capable to repay the loan i have requested for.

Hi Joseph, You are truly a role model for all entrepreneurs and Zidisha! You have a natural talent for business to recognize what is needed in your area and I love the fact you are conscious of helping others. I hope as you continue to grow you can create employment and opportunities for others. Perhaps letting others who are struggling to take items on consignment who can't afford to buy their own clothing bundles? There has to be a measure of trust to do this but hopefully you can create income for another youth. Best of luck to you in all of your businesses! Regards, Margaret
