About Me

I am Serae Maku. a Kenyan aged 29 years. I reside in Pipeline area in the outskirts of Nairobi town. I obtained. I did my secondary education in 2004. I then did a Certificate in Information Technology in the year 2007. Since 2008 to 2011 i have been working in Cyber cafe as a cyber cafe attendant, 2012 is when i started my own business because i had enough experience. With the earning i am going to get From Zidisha i will purchase new machines to boost my business.

My Business

The name of my business is Phinex Cyber cafe, Located in Pipeline - Nairobi. I have 5 computer machines connected with Internet. 3 printers, a lamination machine and paper cutter. I started the business in August 2012 from my personal savings. The demand for internet is high because most activities are done online. for example job applications. The risk for the business is electricity black out and sometimes slow internet connections.

Loan Proposal

Thank you zidisha team for giving me another opportunity to post a loan, with the loan i will purchase a computer to add in my cyber cafe. I have 4 computers and an extra machine is what i need to boost my business. This will have a great impact in my business. i will also start training students computer packages. thank you so much

Hi Lenders, i would like to reschedule my loan for the second time and also reduced the installment because we have been having electricity problems often. this has led to sometimes making no sales at all and thus difficult to repay loan on time. i assure you that i will make the payments promptly. thank you

Hi Lenders, i wish to reschedule my loan as i am having some difficulties in work, i have to close work very early because i have a little kid am taking care of who is now 6 weeks. although i have a balance of little money, sometimes i feel much challenged. so i will be repaying the remaining amount in one installment by next\t week. thank you for your patient

i was due to complete my loan on march 7th, but i was unable because the business was low due to the fact that there is a construction being done next to our building thus blocking the way for clients thus a decline in sales. i was however due to pay but i had to pay the house rent. The remaining balance will be paid in the next two weeks

Hi Zidisha Team, Thank you for the loan you granded me a few weeks earlier. i am sorry for not repaying in time as this was my first time, the problem was that i didn't know the process of repaying quite well using the MPesa pay mode, so i had to contact my volunteer mentor. Please accept that i do start repaying my loan starting Friday next week 15/02/2014. Have great day.
