About Me

M y names are Joseph Kusinyi Omula ,I was born in Busia County in a place called Nambale .I was brought up in a family of eleven Siblings being the seven born.I joined nursery school in the ear 1992 where by I completed my primary school in the ear 2000.Later on I joined Kaliwa Secondary School in the year 2001 to 2004.By the year 2007 I married and God has blessed us with two handsome sons the first born is in baby class while the other has not sarted school, the same year I married I decided to venture into business where by I decided to run a shop in which I started saving some little amount of money that I got from casual labour in the village.Currently I am employed with a pharmaceuticals distributor company in Eldoret town while I run the same business with my wife at Kamukunji Estate Eldoret,my wife is the one who manages the business during day time while I do work their in the evening and weekends.

My Business

I started business after finishing my high school education ,the name of my business is called UCHUMI BORA SHOP which is located in Kamukunji ,a slum estate .The stocks I do sell are house hold goods both consumables and non consumables this includes food stuffs, human, small boutique,I also have M-Pesa services within the shop. the business is worth kshs 130,000, and approximately makes a gross profit of kshs40,000 (445 US Dollars) or income before these expenses. Nett profit usually fluctuates between ksh.12000 to ksh.18000 (US Dollars 130 to 210).I normally use the profits from my business as follows :40% to support family up keep ,10% to support my local church,30% I put back in business stock,10% savings while the ramaining 10% I use to support my aged mother since my father is dead.
The challenge I have in these business is lack of enough capital to stock ,while the strength I have is I have no competitors to my business.

Loan Proposal

Thanks very much the zidisha community plus all lender for the opportunity to get loan that will enable me grow economically.
I would like to propose that given funding I will use 100 us dollars as follows:-
30 us dollars rice
50 us dollars one bag of sugar
20 us dollars One dozen of Ugali flour
I believe that the move will help me stock enough the above first moving stocks in my general shop thus I will not sell out of stock and will be able to make profits that will enable me pay back without any difficulty.
Be blessed I look forward to your wise considerations
