About Me

Am Kennedy Ndeto from Nairobi Kenya. Am the firstborn of peasant farmers with four other siblings. I grew up in the eastern part of our country I.e kangundo in Machakos county. Schooling in the late 80s and 90s in all rural Kenya was an uphill task. I was not an exception. From trekking barefooted for kilometers, tattered uniforms, and the hunger pangs but I overcame these and did my eight years primary and four years secondary education. I dint perform very well in my high school hence I remained home helping my peasant farmers until I was employed by the Government of Kenya as a public servant. After I married and started a family expenses kept raising unable to be covered by my salary. I opened a small vegetable business to support my wife and partner to raise our three children but which has have been hit hard by the corona pandemic. Hopefully, I can get some funding which I plan to pay using my small salary and raise steadily again to a more meaningful business.

My Business

I Am employed by GOK as a public servant.
Again, I have a small vegetable vending business in partnership with my wife. We sell tomatoes, Kales, cabbages and few fruits within our neighborhood. We choose this business because its low startup capital and the few government licenses required. Currently, most of the profits from this carter for our family needs like rent, food, electricity and water, and school fees.

Project Proposal

Good morning, I wish to use the funds received here to buy more stocks for my small vegetable business since an increase in stocks results in an increase in profits realized. have been having weekly profits of between 2000 - 3000 Kenya shillings which I intend to grow to between 2500 - 3500 kenya shillings. This increment will go a long way in improving my credit score and my ability to access even more loans as I will be able to pay loans on time now that I have an option to pay installments on monthly basis.

Good morning Good people, Am well and blessed this morning. Always grateful for what zidisha is doing to change the lives of many throughout the world mine included. The last loan I received really helped me. I have a small tuck shop co-owned with my wife which was struggling to restock following poor sales during these pre-corona times. I re-stocked with the funds loaned and once more the business is up and doing fine. The increased earnings though not so much, but enabled me pay a sizeable chunk of my children's school fees. It's my belief if this picks and continues this way will be able to stabilize and pay for even more needs of my young family. I believe this next funding will push me even more to revamp my stocks.

Good morning all. How grateful am I this morning to wake up and receive the good news my loan has been fully funded? As I had explained earlier I intend to use the monies to restock the business to ensure it gains momentum after the effects of Covid 19 which really affected businesses in our country and the entire world. I will have a small amount to treat my family now that schools are closed and everyone is at home. Once again am very grateful to God and all you who made this project successful. Have a great productive day today.

Good morning lenders am well blessed of the lord and doing fine. Hope you too. My last loan was really helpful to me since this a very tough times for me financially. As i had hinted to you my small business is picking up slowly after the effects of Covid 2019 on many business here in my country Kenya. Not many customers have money hence serious affecting our cash-flow. But God has been good to me and my family and this far we are grateful indeed that we are here now. Part of the money i used to send my daughter to school who is going for one and the rest to try and re boost the groceries shop to see it gets back to its feet. Thank you for your partnership in times like this and i look forward to continue the friendship to greater heights.

Good morning Zidisha lenders? I Am delighted once more to be here to generously thank you for the last loan which enables me to boost my stock by an extra Kes 4000/=. I used the rest for household expenses since am trying to bounce back after the effects of the covid 19 pandemics. Am planning to use the next loan to increase by a small percentage my stock and use the other amount to prepare my daughter Sydney who is joining high school next month on the 2nd. Currently, we are home as a family, and catering for them all is quite challenging considering we have a baby one-year-old Esther and her mother was laid off as an ECDE teacher in a private school. I wish in the future to have enough to pay for all my bills. Thank you in advance.
