About Me

My name is James Ngotho. I live in Nakuru and I am currently taking part-time classes at the Kenya Institute of Management, where I am studying marketing management. I am a humble person, creative, dedicated to my work and working very hard to realise my dream. I am also a God-fearing young man with good morals. I love adventures, travelling, reading, swimming, and discovering new ideas and places. I come from a humble and Christian background. I like working hard for everything that comes my way, since I have realised nothing easy lasts enough to make a difference in one's life in the future.

My Business

I am running a food cafe in White House estate (in the outskirts of Nakuru town). I sell mainly African dishes, i.e. ugali, rice, fish, chicken, githeri, etc.

I have a good clientele and I appreciate them. I have 3 cooks who help me in day-to-day operations of the business. I insist on cleanliness, good customer service, and perfection in cooking of the different types of dishes so that my customers get the ultimate satisfaction they deserve.

I make a gross profit of about 85,000kshs in a month. I spend about 36,000kshs on salaries, 24,000kshs on bills (i.e., electricity, water & rent). Given the loan, I will use it towards expansion of my business since, as my customers have steadily increased, the sitting space has become insufficient. I need to create an outdoor sitting area so that I can be able to accommodate more customers. My daily income will help me repay the loan with no hardship. Thank you, Zidisha Team.

Loan Proposal

I am running a food cafe in White House estate (in the outskirts of Nakuru town). I sell mainly African dishes, i.e., ugali, rice, fish, chicken, githeri, etc. I have a good clientele and I appreciate them.

Last time I wanted to introduce some pizza on my menu but I was unable. I thought of first strengthening the yoghurt project. This time, if granted a loan, I will purchase some cheese, specifically mozzarella, so that I can be able to do some pizza that will attract the customers.

    Hello dear lender,

I take this opportunity to thank you again, i kindly request you to allow me reduce my repayment amount. this is due to high cost of raw materials due to drought that we are hoping all will be well with this oncoming rainfall. i know if all gets well i will increase the amount since i have hope that business will be back to be as usual soon. it is due to the high cost of raw materials that is causing me to decrease the repayment amount. God bless you as you review this humble request.

    Regards,
    James.

I take this opportunity to thank Zidisha team and more so the lenders. It is with so much gratitude that I want to Say thanks to you and may our almighty lord God bless you so much for the continued support. I will replenish some of the stock and as well add some new item that is yoghurt. I have already identified a supplier, who is Happy cow ltd who make yoghurt and cheese. Cheese brand name is Chease makers from Holland. "ideas borrowed from Holland". If yoghurt does well and i get good income from it i will repay the loan first, and then i will try to make some pizza using the company's cheese. Once again Thanks.

    Regards,
    James.
