I am a member of a family size of ten. Am the forth of eight siblings and the first male child. I am the first to have been educated. At the age of 17 my dad who was a labourer and the bread winner died and I had to combine schooling with menial jobs on peoples farms and construction site to enable be in school.
After SHS I proceeded to the training college from where I joined the Ghana Education Service at the age of 23.
I have since worked to take care of my four younger siblings in school.
In 2006 I had the opportunity to study at the university for development studies where I graduated with BSc. Agric Technology degree.
As a graduate teacher in my former SHS, I established AJAJ IDEAS - a store of assorted products ranging from canned products to rice, beans, groundnut, polythene bags, salt, spice, etc.
I wish to improve it to one of the best. Thanks
AJAJ IDEAS is an established hub of goods to satisfy the population in the catchment area.
it is a one-stop shop where on can get most consumer goods apart from the perishables like cassava, fresh tomato, and so on.
One can fine canned products : tin tomatoes, mackerel, Sardinia, cornbeef, baking powder.
Oil products : magarine, frytol, soya oil, etc.
Polythene products.
Rice, beans, wheat, soya beans, tombrown, etc
When am in school, my sister takes charge till I join her after school.
I want to use the loan to
1. Buy more take away polythene bag
2. I will buy 5 bags of bread flour
3. 2 bags of sugar
4. Assorted spices that are in great demand such as Magi, onga, seasonings, nutmeg, ginger,
5. I will buy boxes of tomato tins and sachets
6. Boxes of mackerel and sardines
Despite the convid 19 induced economic crises business like my still run because they are daily household consumables which are necessities.
I hope I will earn enough money from this business together with other sale shop I have elsewhere to enable me make a comfortable settlement without any difficulty. When sales are good I could make a profit of GH₵400 or more and when sales are bad I could make about GH₵200.
I will support the payment with proceeds from my other store which can give me GH₵300 and above a week
