About Me

My name is Toye David Oluwadamilola 36, I am a visual artist with an inclination towards abstract art with the adoption of visual codes, signatures and patterns . Recently i decided to harmonise my art and experience in hospitality business by creating first a Bar which adopt visual arts and other forms of artistic expression like dance, music, and poetry to entertain and appreciate customers and tourist alike in a way that will encourage art collection, promote an alternative mode of relaxation with healthy living and generate income such that everybody wins . My target is to raise enough to run this business smoothly and i have no doubt, relying on obvious trends that beer/drink sells and art is a store of value, a form of investment as well as therapy with zero side effects in addressing stress and other psychosomatic ailments. I am convinced that those who are entertained will find it irresistible to collect the art that stimulates, inspires, motivates and is appealing to their senses .

My Business

My business is doing textual analysis of artworks , writing copies for artist and clients in other business field who need my expressional skills to project their goods, products and services , after which i publish some of these content on my social media handle, especially on Facebook with the name Toye Damilola. My source of income is mostly from gigs and errands that has to do with doing what is stated above and my goal is to earn more once the Art plus Bar is established . I charge
#1000:00k per textual analysis which can range between 20 words to 200 words , 10 % of the cost of executing an errand plus logistics fee in case of clients who wants me to be physically present at the site of a task/errand .

Loan Proposal

I will use this loan to rent a shop, stock the shop and make it operational which involves getting two tables and four chairs for a start , a coolant, glasswares for drinking beers, saucer for edibles ,plastic bowls for hygienic keeping of edibles and other bar utensils, mount the artworks made by me , fix the lightening, get a pay TV for customer entertainment, install the Solar and Electric powered Fenix Radio and Lights, manage whatever is left to daily improve the value of the bar ,which of course involves a subtle advertisement using the most affordable means of creating awareness - Attention Grabbing Banners and respond promptly to customer demands since a business is an organism and listening to customer heart beats is how one can make it grow .

I am still making attempts to find alternative source of funding to establish the art+bar through helping others write copies to promote their artworks on social media, trade in company stocks and play an advisory role in a computer repairs shop on customer sourcing, relationship and how to gain customer loyalty. What i get from lenders is helpful but not enough to kick start the Art+Bar. Hopefully, i should be entitled to higher loans as time goes on . Thanks for believing in me .

The amount requested was 8,387 NGN and the amount received after deductions was 5,033 NGN. I used the fund to pay a strategic ally who is responsible for my logistics around town in my research and sourcing for materials to make a visually appealing works of art.
