My name is James Mwangi Gachuha. I reside in Bahati near Bahati shopping centre which also serve as the headquarter for the Nakuru North new district. I am a married man with five children. The last one is still in school.
I have a shop at the centre where i sell a variety of items. The profit margin per item is low but at the end of the day, i sell many items and make a lot of profit. I make about ksh 25000 per month from the shop. I also do dairy farming which produce milk for the family while the extra is sold. I sell about 4 litres of milk per day at ksh 30 per litre. I also farm maize, beans, potatoes and other greens for the family. I sell the much that is not used by the family. I usually make about ksh 30000 per season of maize. Beans are usually planted twice per year and the price of beans fluctuate depending the season.
As this will be a season of harvesting the locals will be having some cash making a good circulation of money.Am intending to increase the stock to meet the demand.I'LL INCREASE THE GOODS AT THE SHOP bringing new staffs as we are entering the December festivities which i will not like to gotten off guard as in this season most people makes a lot of buying new thing for kids and foodstuffs for the holiday festivities. The past loan has seen me expanding with a good turn up of customers whom have given me some morale to bring my to expansion of my business to a greater heights to meet the demands of the locals.Am also intending to sell some of the food stuffs i.e bales of wheatflour to the hotels that are coming up at the market place where my shop is placed ,reaching out even to the others outside the market place
