About Me

My Business

    Hello lenders!

Today we met with Mr. Pascal at his home. He is still in high spirits with his work despite serious set-backs this May. This spring, his products were stolen from the boutique where he used to work. He addressed this to the manager of the plot, and was brushed off because he did not give bribes to the manager like the other sellers. With this, he left the hostile environment to work from his home.

Right now, he is working to rebuild his stock of fabrics and constructing an area on his roof to work. It is very hot working with liquid wax under the sun, so it is vital that he builds a cover.

Mr. Pascal is also teaching the neighboring children how to make batik! He is planning to form a more formal training group soon.

Brice is always looking at life from a positive viewpoint, and he can't thank you lenders enough for your support!

Below is a picture of Mr. Pascal with a batik still in progress of John Paul II.

    Hello everyone!

I had the pleasure to meet with Mr. Abbey today at his home in Parcelles. He is incredibly motivated, compassionate, intelligent, and always willing to learn! We talked for many hours about our lives, society, and his batik business and training.

Mr. Abbey has over 20 years of experience working with computers, and looks forward to helping his neighbors and friends learn about how to use the Zidisha website.

Mr. Abbey expressed his gratitude for the loan, and apologizes deeply for the missed repayment in January. He is currently waiting for an order to come in that is directly related to his investment with his business. He takes his loan very seriously, and is working hard to fulfill his promise.

Included is Mr. Abbey with a batik of one of his trainees.
