About Me

Foster Biney is my name. I was born into a very poor family of 11 ( 2 maternal and 9 paternal). My father married 3 wives so he made up his mind that none of us would go to school because of poverty.
My father is a poor peasant farmer and mother, a petty trader. Even though we farm, the produce were not enough and yet we do barter trading with the little we had to enable us survive.
I loved education so much but there's no guardian so what I did was that, to be able to read and write, I pleaded with one of my neighbors who was a teacher in one of the schools to teach me how to read and write because I did not have the financial muscle for it.
Having considered how zealous I was and my family background, he contented to it and so he taught me every evening for 6 years before he was transferred out. This how come although I didn't go to school, I can read and write at my level. May God bless him wherever he is.

My Business

Because there's no other occupation for me apart from farming, I cherish it so much because, it's the only was I can survive.
I cultivate the following crops or produce; cabbage, carrot and cucumber on a small scale.
Unfortunately, there's less market for my produce in the north so about 80% of my crops go bad every year.
However, my inviter, Foster Amuzu Korto got market for my produce in Accra but my would be clients said they are ready to buy any quantity if only I can bring to them in Accra.
The problem now is the transportation charges and carriages and also to buy a water spraying machine for my crops during the dry season.

Loan Proposal

I am a poor farmer who always tries to make it in life but my produce (cabbages, carrots and cucumbers) get rotten because there's no market for it here in the north; but they are like silver and gold in Accra.
However, Foster A. Korto, my inviter, a trusted and a selfless friend looked for people who are ready to buy whatever quantity I take to them in Accra.
The challenge now is transportation charges and carriages to be able to send the goods. I need approximately GH¢500.00 per trip to be able to do this.
If I get financial assistance, I will make returns in the range of GH¢1,500.00-GH¢3,000.00 per trip. Please help save my produce from rotting by granting me a loan. When this is done, my aim of helping poor and needy people in the community will become a reality.
Thank you.
