About Me

I was born in Kakamega county near Majengo sub county and went to Ikuma primary school and later progressed to Chango high school.
I was born in a poor family being the last born of seven members
My dad was a peasant farmer and my mother was a house help.
It became difficult for me to get school fees which i later managed to through the hard way .Being send home for school fee most of my time.
I began my own business after saving for about three years and had little capital
The uniqueness in my village is that e have less educated families but business oriented
My children wants to be business men and teachers
I like traveling and socializing

My Business

I run a bookshop sale reading books ,novel and school stationery.
Book shop is very useful to student and books are in high demand especially the pens and exercise books
I choose this kind of business because its unique and less people operate it in our village
my revenue its from selling stationary and the cost are those of buying the stationary and paying rent.
I use my profits to pay school fees and re invest

Loan Proposal

I will increase stock for consumables ie learning and instructional materials for pupils
I also have orders pending due to insufficient and limited stock, the new loan will assist me acquire more stock.
I also have intention to buy variety stocks of story books for kindergarten and nursery kids,teachers instructional materials and coloring books which are in great demand.

    He is adamant to explain how soon he will be starting to pay the instalments. Will try my level best to engaging him more though he seems uncooperative.

    Iam currently in the process of restocking my books business and will updating soonest once the stock is sent from the suppliers.

    Iam forever greatful to Zidisha for the great supporrt for the growth of our businesses.
    I used my last loan to increase my stock for learning materials and stationeries in the business.
    I have experienced a steady growth in profitability from since i started accessing the loans till now.My profits are growing steadily and iam now able to meet customers demand though i still have more unmet supply requirements due to limited stock.
    Iam highly optimistic the next loan will help me increase the stock.

    I purchased additional stock with the loan fund.The purchase has increased my incomes and i have managed to employ one casual hand help to manage increased demand. The increased earnings of a bout 3,000 was used to reinvest in the business for better returns.generally im so grateful to Zidisha for their efforts in transforming livelihoods.

    - I purchased my first stock.
    -The purchase made a significant difference in my cash flows.
    -My earnings increased to a bove 10 usd
    -I used the increased earnings to re stock and increase on variety of other products i had not stocked with the first loan.
    -I can now meet my obligations since the business is experiencing gradual growth.
    -Not so much experience yet im gradually growing the business.
    -Will be sending photos of the business growth soonest in my subsequent interactions.
