My name is Anna, I come from a family of 12, 6 boys and 6 girls I am the second born. I only went to school up to standard three. I am a single mother, I have 10 children I have brought them up through the hardships of being a single mother. They are all of age now and I thank God for that. I lost two of my children a girl and a boy. I am a peasant farmer. I sell vegetables to earn an income and I thank God for all that.
One of my daughter's is taking her master's degree I pray for her, since she was young she said she wanted to have a doctorate degree I am happy for her and I pray that her dreams comes true.
The pokot people are very friendly and welcoming. I love children I like staying with them during my past time.
I engage in green grocer I get the vegetables for my farm.
These goods are high in demand all the seasons.
I choose this business because it does not demand a lot, it is easy to manage and I can get them from my farm which makes it more enjoyable.
The revenue from it I support my children who are still in college. I save some for my pension, inject some to my business and pay my bills and my upkeep.
I will use the loan to make 3500 ,bricks for construction of my house as follows;
Procure plastic mats for covering the bricks@ 30 USD, bricks moulding of 3500 red bricks @ 80 USD.
I will get bricks to construct my 3 roomed house. The project will help the community around me because it will be a source of employment.
I will save 20 USD by making the bricks rather than buying them.
