Greetings Morine, I am James, a lender on Zidisha. You will be joining TTC college next month and I am sure you will do your very best in school. Did you get a lot of rain in your area? The boutique and salon business can bring good income. I have 3 daughters in Kenya who have those businesses. The 3 are in Nakuru, Kisumu, and Nairobi. I have been to Kenya 3 times and have many sons and daughters all over. All have finished school long ago. One of the daughters also sells items not usually found in boutiques and salons. Two of those items are diapers and sanitary pads. Since you are close to a university, I am sure you also get a lot of business from the girls there, and am sure you also see young mothers and pregnant women in your area. I am sure you could sell those things and make some money. My daughters also sell sodas and snacks to waiting customers. If you don't have a fridge perhaps you could get a small cooler and use ice. You might consider all or some of those things for your place. I wish you the best in business Morine, and of course life too. Just thought I would give you some ideas for business. Keep your chin up honey, you will do fine am sure. Keep on keeping on. James
