About Me

My name is Susan Wanjiru Kiarie I am a firstborn in family of three siblings .I now live in Kitale town ,Trans nzoia county Rift valley province. I am married and a mother of one daughter. I have a Diploma in Beauty and hairdressing being brought up by a single mother my school life was challenging but through small savings, my mother made from small farm and well-wishers I made it to college. I have managed to start hair and beauty salon located at railway line Kitale town I started the business to earn a living and invest further. I am aiming in opening a cosmetic shop, which will help me double the current income. I use the income from my business to pay rent,electricity and other bills.
During my free time I love swimming, traveling, socializing and volunteering to help the needy.

My Business

My beauty and hairdressing business is located in Kitale town CBD that makes it an idle for high profits since I render my services to people residing in Kitale town and the surrounding outskirts of Kitale since they come to Kitale town for these services. I started this business through my small savings and with the help of my parent. I have been able to expand it through the income I get i.e I have purchased a new dryer and blow dry. I also use the income from the business to pay bills and school fees for my daughter and part of it to invest more.I have employed one lady who we work with at the salon.
Since i am trained in this area i love job and my clients love my services very much since i offer quality and satisfactory service.

Loan Proposal

Thank you for my previous loan .When given this loan I will purchase a Chair hair dryer
that is comfortable for my clients. The budget for this is as follows:
Chair Hair Dryer @ ksh 27,000/=
Blow dry @ ksh 7000/=
TOTAL 34000/=
This increase in my business will benefit me a great deal. The profit increase will be 30%.
