About Me

I am the last born child in a family of six, five boys and one girl. i was born in shitaho village shirere sub location in 1983 and started my nursery and primary education in 1988 at shitaho primary school where i did my standard eight exams kenya certificate of primary education in 2002. i latter trained as driver and started small scale farming at our home in 2004 i started my business as a bicycle operator in kakamega town i left for the city in Nairobi and after working their for 4 years i went back to kakamega and in 2010 i started my moto cycle business as an operator. i have since grown from being an employee to purchasing my own motor bike, i have developed a big network of clients and the business has really grown. i am married and blessed with four children.

My Business

My business starts in the morning where i take children to school and latter transport other business and office workers to their places of work. My services are charged at ksh.50 ($0.5) to and from town, i make an average of ksh. 700 ($7) per day and spend about Ksh.200 ($2) per day on fuel this gives me an average net of Ksh.500 ($5) per day. with the profit i am able to meet all my basic necessities and pay my other bills.

Loan Proposal

I would like to buy new tires and Umbrella during this rainy season. One new tire costs Ksh.3000 ($30) and a new Motobike Umbrella costs Ksh.2000 (20) and a set of new sprocket Ksh.3200 ($32) for maintenance of the motorbike. The new tires and umbrella will help me operate even when the rain is on, the remaining amount will be used in purchasing 15 hens to supplement on my income through selling of eggs from the chicken one hen costs Ksh.600 ($6)
