About Me

My name is Bansy, a married mother of 1 child who is 2 years old. I was born in an area called Muranga in central Kenya. We are farmers in this area and every household in deeply involved in this activity where they produce food for their families and cash crops like coffee to sell.

I am involved in agribusiness where I have attended short courses in production of fast selling horticulture crops.

My Business

I mostly deal with production of horticulture crops such as capsicum, chilli and tomatoes. I have also kept a few chicken which produce eggs for sale.

I sell the produce in our main market and also to schools and hotels in my area. I hope to keep expand my farming so as to produce more. For this to happen, I need to get affordable credit and this is where Zidisha comes in.

Loan Proposal

I managed to buy seedlings and they are all doing well. I expect to get a good harvest in 6 weeks from now. I need to spray the crops in about two weeks from now and I need pesticides which will cost me about $30. This will be enough for spraying this crop and the next one.

This is a crucial stage for the plants and I need to get it right else my effort will go down the drain. Kindly help me to finish what we started together.
