About Me

I am a young lady of 23 years of age and a Baptist by religion and by faith. I am the second born of four children. I am a Senior High School graduate a caterer by profession. I bake convenience foods(snacks) and also operate fast food sometimes.
I started this food business after completion of my Senior High School and as a result of the sudden demise of my mother, I have to become the mother in the house in food preparation.
Since my elder sibling is a half-sister to me who also stays with the mother. Thus my father's first born to another woman. What this means is that I am a first born to my departed mother and elder sister to two siblings.
I decided to make myself busy by learning a vocational work as a caterer since that was my field of study whiles in school (Home Economics). It was both pleasure and pressure learning a trade because I also have to see to my siblings domestic welfare though my dad plays his part as father but not to the satisfaction and demanding nature of we the children.
I successfully completed my vocational but funds to make it big and accessible to all was difficult so I bake with the little funds raised by my dad and make sales thrice in week though demand is higher. I wish to have my own place of working as a caterer so that I can also employ others. This is my story.

Loan Proposal

Thank God for guiding and directing my path through Zidisha loans. I have struggled in making things work out but the economy was an opoosing factor in my businesses.
I have now dive into sales of plastic materials that is tables, dustbins, bowls and others.
This loan is to aid me in buying the above materials from the warehouse directly than buying from the middle men which at the end generates very low income. If bought from the warehouse, the costs involved will be minimized and can therefore generates higher profits and income which will be enabled me to look after my siblings.
Thank you.

If you can get a better picture before you apply for the next loan, it will help your chances. I don't know if you can see your picture the way we see it. It is just a blur.

Congratulations to myself and lenders as well. I think we deserve it both. It wasn't it easy though. Hardworking and patience pays a lot. Thank God I have been able to pay my first loan and is about to apply for one. God bless you my Lenders and Long Live Zidisha.

Thanks Vicki and Samuel but I have been wondering why my on-time repayment rate is not reflecting the adjustment I did to my repayment amount but still maintained at 3% increment per each weekly payment instead of 6% since I have doubled the repayment amount.

I will do that very soon Vicki Stewart. Wishing all my Lenders and the Zidisha community a happy new year. I travelled out of my business area to my hometown causing a halt to my business activity. I'm now back and hope for the best this year.

I'm so happy for you! If you have a chance, take a photo of your new oven and your bakery items, would love to see them!

Hurray! I made purchase of my Oven. I just can't believe this whole thing. Though I did not buy it when when I received the fund. I made some profitable use of the money before going in for it. That was the advice from the one who invited me here.
