Am a freelance writer , graphic designer and video editor by profession. Am in my final in university pursuing a bachelors degree in Communication and Media. My passion for media has always pushed me to acquire practical skills.Up to the moment I have equipped myself with practical skills in freelance writing, blogging, graphic design, video editing , directing and photography.
I have served as a layout designer, photographer and writer for Varsity Post a student run magazine.
This year 2014 together with friends we will be launching a publication whose aim is to inspire and inform the Kenyan youths in entirety.
I make money by doing what I love. My sources of income are not only limited to graphic design, freelance writing and video editing but also blogging and affiliate marketing. My biggest source of income is freelance writing earning me an average Ksh 25000 , followed by blogging and affiliate marketing and lastly video editing. With a new computer am assured of increasing my monthly earnings as graphics design and video editing have the potential of becoming lucrative sources of my income. I am hoping that I shall be able to buy a high speed laptop, register and buy a domain name for my website this year for the publication we intend to launch .
I am freelance writer, blogger, video editor and photographer. I am requesting a loan of $ 748.932 to enable me acquire a semi professional DSLR camera at $578.451 and the rest of the amount ($170.481) will go into purchasing accessories. This will ensure I maximize my proceeds from photography as an events photographer. It will also help me increase my clientele base which has always been limited by my lack of equipment. I want to tell the African stories of resilience and determination and by acquiring the camera and other equipment in the near future will help me achieve that. Help me tell the African story.
