About Me

Am a freelance writer , graphic designer and video editor by profession. Am in my final in university pursuing a bachelors degree in Communication and Media. My passion for media has always pushed me to acquire practical skills.Up to the moment I have equipped myself with practical skills in freelance writing, blogging, graphic design, video editing , directing and photography.
I have served as a layout designer, photographer and writer for Varsity Post a student run magazine.
This year 2014 together with friends we will be launching a publication whose aim is to inspire and inform the Kenyan youths in entirety.

My Business

I make money by doing what I love. My sources of income are not only limited to graphic design, freelance writing and video editing but also blogging and affiliate marketing. My biggest source of income is freelance writing earning me an average Ksh 25000 , followed by blogging and affiliate marketing and lastly video editing. With a new computer am assured of increasing my monthly earnings as graphics design and video editing have the potential of becoming lucrative sources of my income. I am hoping that I shall be able to buy a high speed laptop, register and buy a domain name for my website this year for the publication we intend to launch .

Loan Proposal

I am freelance writer, blogger, video editor and photographer. I am requesting a loan of $ 748.932 to enable me acquire a semi professional DSLR camera at $578.451 and the rest of the amount ($170.481) will go into purchasing accessories. This will ensure I maximize my proceeds from photography as an events photographer. It will also help me increase my clientele base which has always been limited by my lack of equipment. I want to tell the African stories of resilience and determination and by acquiring the camera and other equipment in the near future will help me achieve that. Help me tell the African story.

    Dear Zidisha fraternity,
I am very much happy this morning that I have managed to reach Edwin Mogere, as i have been trying to reach him, i was very much sorry to hear that Edwin has been down due to illness but he confirmed to me that he is on his way to recovery and promised to resume to his loan repayment in about 2-4 weeks from now as he is strategizing on how to resume back to work soon in a week or so.
Edwin, has requested me to apologize for him since he has remained behind since he made a loan reschedule as he thought he was to be fine but the sickness did not allow him to make it. I also wish him quick recovery so that he can resume back soonest.

    Regards
    Vincent VM Kenya

    Hello Zidisha,
I wish to reduce the amount I have been paying because my business has not picked up well. I have spent so much in paying for office space and licences plus other accessories. I anticipate increased earnings in the next few weeks when schools close. Kindly lenders bear with me and know that I will increase the payment amount when my business picks up.

Once again I appreciate my lenders. I bought an entry level dslr. To help me tell the African story I teamed up with former school mates and we formed mashariki productions. Our website is www.masharikiproductions.com. We have gone beyond photography. Our services include photography, graphic design and audio production.
