About Me

I was born in a very humble family of 4 siblings in Marani Sub-County, Kisii County, being a first born in the family, I started my primary education in 1995and proceeded to a boarding secondary school since my parents could not afford to take me to a boarding school. God blessed me and I finished my O-levels in 2008. I did not proceed to college since we could not afford. By God’s grace I joined a computer college and did computer packages. In the computer college I got a friend who connected me with her friend who had a cyber, I got a job in the cyber café and worked there for more than five years. While working in the cyber café, it was difficult for me to save so that I could join college since my family depended on me so much and also my younger siblings since I assisted them to complete school by paying their school fees. Thank God the second born did his four
> In 2013 I managed to buy a second hand computer and a deskjet printer, and thereafter a friend partitioned for me a space where I started doing typesetting services for my clients. Since 2013 God has really blessed me so much and I have bought six more computers, Epson printer and a laser jet, and now I can offer internet services, photocopying, binding and the usual typesetting which I started with.
> Since I started the business I have really achieved most of my dreams from the business only, I was able to enroll myself as a part time student in Jomo Kenyatta university where am doing a diploma in information technology, my younger siblings finished his O-levels through my support, hence I believe in the business. I am sure when I expand it I will be able to make more sales and achieve my dreams, also I believe through me I will be able to one day sponsor a needy child to succeed in life and be able to volunteer my experience and make a person achieve his dreams. Coming from an inability home it doesn’t mean I have no ability of progressing in life just from my small business to big dreams in business since I believe this is just a start if I succeed to get the loan from zidisha organization.
> The advise from my parents that in a successful business you have to be hardworking, honest, ambitious, disciplined, patient and persistent on whatever you are doing as a living.

My Business

My business name is Presslink enterprises situated in marani sub county in Kisii County, I aim in expanding the business, so that I can own u pto 11 computers and sell stationery. I started as a one computer offering typesetting is now is now eight, with printing and photocopying services, also most of the stationery are available. i plan to increase my stationery stock so that can sell them to increase my net profit also in my new loan I plan to invest it in buying a car washing machine. This is a plan I have that we see my business employ two more people who will be working with me including my brother who will finish his secondary education at the end of this year.

Loan Proposal

Now that most people have recognized my business, I want to add more computers so that I do not keep my customers waiting for long for a computer to be free so that they can use.
This will increase my volume of sales and I am sure I will be able to repay my loan hence growing my business. I plead with lenders to consider my project and please fund my loan.
Thanks

I wish to reduce the amount i pay to KES 1000. This is due to decline of profit in my business. it has been caused by by high price of food in our area/ community thus reducing spending of the customers.

I thank lenders so much for giving me an opportunity to invest their money in my business, the last loan I acquired from zidisha I used it to buy a photocopier machine. this increased the number of customers I now serve compaired to the previous number when I was using a LaserJet to do photocopying. sometimes the LaserJet could break in a middle of a service leaving my customers stranded. I since I bought the machine the customers have confidence in me that their work is done without any fear of fail. in return I always make good profit since their is minimum repairs as compared to LaserJet printers that I used before. the profit I get from the business is helping me support myself and my siblings paying school fees

    Hallo Lenders,
Am grateful I received all the loan I applied for and purchased two computers. I have taken long before informing you about my progress, its because the business has been off peak, there were no customers, hopefully things are starting to change, approaching December holiday there will be weddings, and other celebrations.
From the loan I received I purchased two computers I have posted. I really appreciate for the funds.
    Regards,
    Nathan
