My names are Francisca chepkemoi mibey of id 26400135.i live in nakuru, kenya and a mother 2 kids.Boy(spencer njuguna)and girl(melisa nyambura). Both of my parents are dead so i decided to do some farming to boost my family's income.
My hobbies include listening to music, travelling and i love animals.I belive they are beautiful creautures and should be well looked after.I have indigenous chicken at my place.
My business is about raising chickens so far i have about 30 birds both big and small. On average a day i collect about 6-10 eggs after selling i get about 2 dollars per day and 60 dollars monthly. In my neighborhood their a lot of demand of eggs actually people book them before they are laid. There are two major challenges of the business one is diseases and two is chicken feeds.About diseases i make sure they are well vaccinated and also all the preventive measures are observed.
first of all let me thank the zidisha fraternity for the first loan which really helped me in terms of sales.
let me first say that the chicken am going for is the indegenous ones unlike the non-indegenous ..it is more marketable ,tastier, resistant to many diseases ,costly thus more marketable.
i want to take advantage of this season and buy 40 chickens at a cost of 225 dollars and each chicken at a cost of 6 dollars and sell at 12 dollars that will double profit.
i already know where to buy cheaply and where to sell.
thanks once again for making my dream a reality and long live zidisha .
