About Me

My name is Lucy Njeri Muchoki.i am a female and born in the year 03-09-1993,in Nakuru District,Rift-alley Province at a place called Munanda Estate.By now i am 21 years old.I attended Munanda primary school for my primary education and later joined Subukia mixed secondary school for my O level education.I am now practicing business which is dealing with tailoring and selling of second-hand clothes in the Open-air market here in Gilgil called Soko-Mjinga Market.
I am a single mother of one girl called Catherine Wambui.she is attending a junior school here in Gilgil called Utumishi academy.

My Business

I am a tailor and I also sell textured materials in my shop . Apart from sewing the new clothes I also sell the second hand children clothes(Mtumba). The demand is very high as most of my customers are church members and friends plus that I am a competent tailor in the local market ,I normally do my sewing of dresses in style that keeps my customers looking good by the African attires . I make an average net profit of Kes.25,000 per month. This enables me to cater my daily living needs, which includes buying food, paying bills likehouse rent, electricity and school fees for my girl. The balance I’m left with ranges from Kes.14,000 to Kes.18,000 per month.I believe that through the zidisha loan,I will make to a higher level by buying the materials in large quantities and also buy the second-hand clothes in bales.Through this I will be making more than this per every month. It is my prayer that Zidisha will approve my loan and fund my business.thank you in advance and God bless you all.
