About Me

Derrick Shwana is my name and am the 4th child in the family of 6.
I completed my high education at Ndeke Secondary School in the year 2014, I later went on to study Secondary Teacher's Diploma at Mufulira Professional College.
I started raising money by saving each day in my mobile wallet account. Currently am running and managing my own business which is sewing of clothes and uniforms of different kinds.
I would love to improve my business as it is my source of income which enables me to support my needs.

My Business

My father has been a tailor for so many year and during the time was a young boy, my father used to teach me tailoring and I started developing the interest in it . So the time i was at school was already a good tailor.
This time am able to sew clothes and uniforms of different kinds. My dreams are to become a good tailor and extend my business in this field. With the help of Zidisha Community would be able to purchase the new sewing machine and other necessary needs that will help me to run the business in tailoring.

Sometime, I work on orders that,we receive from our local community and Companies that are in need of uniforms, schools etc.
I beg Zidisha Community to help me in building up my business through your financial support that,have already make use of it.

Project Proposal

With Zidisha funds,I will depend it on buying enough sewing cotton since have so many customers who have made orders to make school uniforms as we start the year 2023.
